Kate Knox
Kate completed her MSc (Preregistration) in Occupational Therapy at Leeds Metropolitan University in 2009, following a BSc in Psychology and Drama from Liverpool in 2004. Her interest in neurological rehabilitation began during academic research into the use of meaningful occupation in acute settings.
She has extensive experience working in both NHS and independent roles, including as a Clinical Case Manager and Specialist OT at Salford Royal Foundation Trust — across acute and hyper-acute neurology, stroke rehab and complex neurological assessments.
Kate specialises in cognitive rehabilitation and has completed advanced training with Dr Kit Malia (Brain Tree Training) and Dr Barbara A. Wilson (Executive Functioning Disorders). She also holds a Life Coach qualification completed in 2021.
My approach is person-centred, evidence-based, and grounded in helping individuals improve quality of life through values-led occupational engagement.
