📋 About Chelsea

Chelsea is a highly skilled Occupational Therapist who qualified in 2009. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings including A&E, trauma and orthopaedics, vascular, stroke unit, palliative care, chronic respiratory unit, medical high dependency and ICU.

Her last NHS role was Clinical Lead OT for Environmental Controls at an Assistive Technology specialist hub for the West Midlands — responsible for clinical leadership, coordination and delivery of OT services including environmental control and augmentative and alternative communication for complex brain injury clients.

Chelsea works with a highly organised approach, using specialist clinical knowledge to complete complex assessments and maintain a positive mindset when navigating client complexities.

💬 Why I Became an OT

I always knew I wanted to help and support people for a career, but I couldn’t find the right profession. Whilst in college a family member highlighted OT — after the first internet search on ‘What is OT?’, there was no looking back. There is no better feeling than knowing you are enabling and empowering people to live the way they want to and achieve their goals. I feel privileged to work with people during the most difficult moments of their lives and make a difference.
