📋 About Chrisanna

Chrisanna qualified as an Occupational Therapist from St Martin’s College, University of Lancaster in 1997. Since qualifying she has worked across health, education, social care and the private sector.

The larger part of her employment has been in paediatrics — she spent 11 years as a paediatric OT in a local authority, gaining expertise in the major adaptation process including Disabled Facilities Grants, reading architectural plans, and sourcing bespoke and standard equipment. She is experienced in seating and posture management across home and school settings.

Chrisanna has worked as an Associate Brain Injury Case Manager since 2017, supporting families through the litigation process and post-settlement, with an excellent understanding of processes and professionals on both sides.

💬 Why I Became an OT

I am very proud to be an Occupational Therapist and part of a community of professionals with diverse skills to help someone improve their functional skills and environment, to enjoy a happy and positive quality of life. I love working with children and their families and am passionate about helping and empowering people to be as independent and successful in their lives as they aspire to be. I am a firm believer in education — to the client, their loved ones and the people providing formal care.
